The ABC’s of Bolongo Bay Beach Resort
All inclusive – Bolongo Bay Beach Resort brought All Inclusive to St. Thomas in 1989 and still, no one in the Caribbean does it better. A la carte dining at both restaurants and unlimited cocktails, can’t beat it.
Beach hut – Our activity coordinators at the beach hut provide lessons for a wide variety of water sports including kayaks, paddle boards, water trikes, wind surfers, Hobie Cats, and Sunfish sailboats.
Carnival night – A 40 year old tradition, our Carnival night is every Wednesday in season at Iggies and includes an all you can eat buffet, live calypso music, traditional Mocko Jumbie stilt dancer, fire and limbo show and a glass walker! A night not to be missed!
Diving – St. Thomas Diving Club is located right on our property, with the best dive staff on island they provide fun and safe scuba diving and snorkeling experiences.
Entertainment – Iggie’s Beach Bar has been awarded the ‘Best Bar with live entertainment’ in all of the Virgin Islands by the St. Thomas Daily News for many years.
Family – Not only has our resort been family owned and operated for over 40 years, we treat you like part of the family as well. Come mingle with the friendliest of staff as well as our lovable local clientele
Games – We have a beach volleyball court, basketball hoop, corn hole boards and bags, the famous string ring toss, and our ‘shake of the day’, a dice game at the bar with a chance to win cash!
Heavenly Days – Bolongo Bay’s award winning 53′ Catamaran is a must do! Swim with Turtles at Buck Island or stay aboard on our Sunset Harbor Cocktail Cruise.
Iggies Beach Bar – One of two great restaurants on our property, Iggies is right on the beach, steps from the Caribbean Sea, a favorite spot for tourists and locals alike.
Jet skis – Ride some waves with 340 Watersports, jet ski rentals located right on our beach. They offer freestyle rides or guided tours.
Karaoke – Currently on Thursday evening’s at Iggies, Karaoke has always drawn a big crowd. Remember, you’re on vacation and will never see these people again, so go for it!
Lobster Grille – Open for casual breakfast and lunch and a more fine dining dinner, the Lobster Grille serves up some amazing up scale specials for very reasonable prices.
Music – Iggies Beach Bar is known for its live music nightly. From reggae to rock to country we’ve got it all. We even had a visit from Stevie Wonder one night who got up on the stage for us!
Nilla Killa – One of many must have cocktails while you are visiting, the Nilla Killa is a twist on the classic Painkiller, made with vanilla rum, orange juice, pineapple juice and coconut cream topped with ground nutmeg.
Ocean front rooms – When we advertise that we have ‘ocean front rooms’ we literally mean you are steps away from the beach and ocean itself.
Pool bar – Located at the Lobster Grill is a great swim up bar overlooking the Caribbean Sea.
Quaint – Having only 74 rooms in our resort that is located on the spacious Bolongo Bay, the beach is never jam packed. Our old Caribbean style feel and laid back family vibe is perfect for that “don’t worry be happy” vacation.
Romance team – Our wedding and events coordinators are simply the best. Welcome dinners, weddings, receptions, vow renewals, they will customize it all to suit you.
Snorkel booze hunt – This is exactly what it sounds like. We hide bottles of rum in our bay and send you out with a mask and snorkel to find the buried treasure!
Turtles – When swimming in our beautiful bay there is plenty of sea grass and often a feeding turtle or two! Or, take our catamaran to Buck island for our ‘Swim With Turtles’ trip.
Unbelievable views – The pictures will never do it justice, you must see them for yourself. Our secluded bay offers a truly breathtaking view of the Caribbean sea.
Voodoo juice – An island favorite, our VooDoo Juice is made with 4 Cruzan flavored rums and 2 different juices and served in a souvenir bucket.
Welcome rum punch – Upon your arrival you will be greeted not only with a smile but a free rum punch! No better way to start your Caribbean vacation.
Xmas on the beach – If you happen to join us for the holiday season, Santa visits us at Bolongo Bay each year on Christmas morning. He arrives via jet ski or dingy and provides juice and cookies and toys for all the children staying with us.
