Southland Gaming Announces Crown Bay Location
The newest addition to the growing Southland Gaming entertainment family, will be opening in Crown Bay plaza on St. Thomas.
A short stroll from the cruise ship docks, the location is the first of its kind to feature a full service bar, gaming and off-track horse racing.
“Visitors to St. Thomas are looking for new things to do, especially our many repeat guests. This center gives them the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful beaches, shopping and tours, then enjoy trying their luck before they re-board. With gaming so popular onboard the ships, this center will increase the gaming dollars that stay here in the Virgin Islands that go toward VI education and many other programs,” announced Shaine Gaspard, Southland Gaming Vice President.

Largest Gaming Center to Open on St. Thomas
Southland Gaming of the Virgin Islands, Inc. (SGVI), a Virgin Islands corporation, has announced plans to build the largest gaming facility in St. Thomas. The two-story entertainment complex opening in the Havensight cruise ship shopping complex will feature a full menu restaurant, full service bar, new and exciting games, and nightly entertainment.
Southland Gaming Vice President, Shaine Gaspard, is thrilled to bring this venture to St. Thomas. “With the huge popularity of video gaming in the States, this gaming center within steps of the cruise ships, will help attract visitors to St. Thomas and contribute substantial funds to the VI Lottery which funds our Education Department. This is entertainment for every type of traveler or resident.”
